WHO ARE WE

New York Metro BPA Flying Club, Inc. is a diverse community of pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and supporters. Our membership spans men, women, and youth from all backgrounds, united by a shared passion for flying and a commitment to empowering the next generation of aviators. Whether you’re a seasoned pilot, an aspiring student, or simply someone who loves aviation, New York Metro BPA-Flying Club, Inc. offers a welcoming space to learn, grow, and soar.

New York Metro BPA Flying Club is located in Queens, New York. The club is part of the Black Pilots of America (BPA), Inc., a non-profit organization established in 1997. New York Metro BPA Flying Club, Inc. (NYMBPA-FC) Inc., has a clear and inspiring mission: to introduce youth—especially those from underrepresented and underserved communities—to the boundless opportunities in the field of aviation. As a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, NYMBPA-FC is committed to creating access, providing education, and building pathways to aviation careers.
