mEET THE TEAM

Brian Worthington is an esteemed leader in the aviation community. He’s currently the National President of Black Pilots of America, Inc. and our local Chapter President. Brian holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL) with an Instrument rating in both airplanes and helicopters (IRA IRH). Brian is also an (UAS) Remote Pilot, an Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) and an Instrument Ground Instructor (IGI). Furthermore, Brian is an airplane owner and a proud United States Army Veteran.

Sidney Irish has over 20 years of flying experience. He’s our acting chapter Vice President. Sidney holds a Private Pilot Certificate (PPL) (ASEL) with an Instrument rating in airplanes (IRA). Sidney is also a (UAS) Remote Pilot, as well as an Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI). Furthermore, Sidney is our primary ground school instructor, an airplane owner, and a proud United States Army Veteran.

Mike Turnbull is our chapter Treasurer. Mike holds a Private Pilot Certificate (PPL) (ASEL) Mike is also an airplane owner.

Anissa Green is our chapter Secretary. Anissa is an aspirating Pilot. 

Jamel Hilaire is our chapter Public Relations Officer. Jamel holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL) (ASEL).
